Everyone is looking for meaning in their life, and this often includes choosing a career path. The majority of jobs are held by entrepreneurs. But why do they break the mold? What reasons do they have?
1. Creativity
You may find that you simply don\’t fit in. You may feel frustrated at first. But if you learn to accept that you are not worthy of the position of employee, you may discover something beautiful. Don\’t give up on the idea that you are not happy on average. Your creativity may just not be suited to the constraints of employee life.
2. They want to change the world
Entrepreneurs often not only want to change their own lives, they want to change the world.
Mark Twain deftly explains this: “Twenty years from now, you will be more disappointed in what you didn\’t do than in what you did do. Throw off your chains. Set sail from safe harbor. Take the enterprising wind in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.
An appetite for adventure, the courage to jump into rough waters, and the desire to prove that you can change the world with your own hands will lead many to own their own businesses. Leaving a personal legacy is undoubtedly a great motivator.
3. Unconventional thinking
Developing one\’s own business requires imagination and perhaps even madness. Those who attempt it see the world not as it is, but as they wish to see it. How did the Wright Brothers come up with the brilliant idea of building a flying machine? Why did Steve Jobs and Bill Gates develop the personal computer? The best entrepreneurs pursue ideas that others think are crazy. Ordinary logic has its limits, and unconventional ideas can change everything.
Albert Einstein said. A dream will take you anywhere.”
4. Money
I will mention the financial aspect last. Still, it is definitely not the bottom line in terms of frequency of motivators. You, the employee, do not earn as much as you, the employer. That is how a liberal economy works.
