Unlike the notorious financial instruments, it is said that it is possible to beat inflation and possibly even make a profit on investments. Of course, you can also lose. When investing, a person certainly has nothing more or less, so no one will vouch for him for the invested money. And the only thing you can be sure of here is that there are small risks here and there are huge investment options here. A person can choose whether to bet on greater or less security – but hand in hand with this, the smaller it entails.
For example, you can invest in bonds.
–In the form of government bonds, we give money to states that use it to finance investment projects (or, as I must say, other rather dubious activities), they make up for the national fiscal deficit or pay for damage caused by natural disasters (including, in my opinion, the actions of some politicians). These bonds do not bring extra interest to investors, but they also have minimal risk.
–Many territorial companies also issue bonds. They do not offer extra interest, but on the other hand, even these are not very dangerous.
–Then there are mutual bond funds where you invest in a portfolio of several variants of bonds or only 1 variant in the medium and long term. These are already dangerous, but the risk is reduced by the fact that there are bonds of several companies in such a portfolio, and the probability of 1 failure is compensated by a successful one.
–Quoted bonds are real securities that are already registered on the stock exchange and can be traded there. To register on the stock exchange, they should be transparent, but only those who have a good overview, who know how they stand and how their position will develop.
–The prospectus and corporate bonds of the Czech National Bank are dangerous. Despite the CNB prospectus, it is not as reliable as it looks, as the CNB only confirms that it meets all the formal requirements set out by law. But whether these are safe and beneficial or not, you need to find them yourself.
–Corporate bonds without a CNB prospectus are issued by companies that actually do business with debt and generally hide their economic indicators. Who knows how much you can trust them.
–And bonds can actually be issued by anyone, even the so-called financial fraudsters, who are only interested in extorting money from the trustee. This is easy because bonds are just pieces of paper that may or may not have value behind them.
We are forced to invest. Of course. After reading the above lines, I can only think of a joke that has been known for a long time. It is best to invest in rum. Where else would they give you 40% for that money?
